With Villopoto already wrapping up the championship, this should make for a cool race! Maybe JS7 will go out on top to make a statement about going into the Outdoor racing season!
▶ Supercross LIVE! 2014 – Check Out All the Excitement of Monster Energy Supercross as it Heads to East Rutherford!
This video is cool, If you don’t know what the experience of supercross is all about, and you want to meet your favorite pro rider, go to a race.
When you purchase a PIT PASS at ANY race you can meet your favorite rider, get his picture and autograph and say whats up! This is seriously one of the coolest things EVER about supercross or outdoor Motocross for that matter.
What other professional sport can you attend that you can actually personally interact with your favorite athlete?
Need proof? Here’s some pics of my son with his favorite riders when we attended Southwick Motocross 338 in August of 2008 including JAMES STEWART (best in the world), ASHLEY FIOLEK (greatest female rider ever), TIME FERRY and My son On Villopoto’s Race bike!
I’ve also included Video of the animated track map of the race in East Rutherford NJ coming up next weekend, this first time Supercross is actually coming to NY. Check this video below for the experience and below that the animated track map!
10 Things to Watch: Seattle SX
10 Things to Watch: Seattle SX – Racer X Online.
So RV can clinch the title this weekend in Seattle (His home race) But James Stewart, Ryan Dungey and people like Trey Canard are still looking to win races! Any one of these guys can make it difficult for RV2 this weekend. JS7 didn’t feel good at all last weekend and still managed to squeak out a 5th place finish, before that he had won 3 in a row and beat RV straight up on the track . Speed wise JS7 can do it. Should make for an interesting weekend of Supercross!
I’m hoping things get really exciting and Somehow RV isn’t able to finish the race!
Villopoto Perfect In 450 Main Event | 2014 Houston SX – Transworld Motocross
So after three weeks of James Stewart being perfect, JS7 wasn’t able to keep any food down all week but still managed to pull out a 5th place , leaving 1st for Villopoto. Unless something catastrophic happens in the last three rounds like RV2 going down and not finishing a race , RV Should wrap his 4th title in a row! No doubt he’ll go down in history as one of the best to ever do it! I was really pushing for JS to do it and prove the haters wrong. In any case he had a great year!

Dirt Shark- #Compound22 (Wilson, Reed, Grant)
Really cool to see Dean Wilson riding the 450’s for Chad’s Team Two Two Motosports. I think it was a great choice for a top rider to race in Chad’s place and moving forward its also a good move. I have always felt that at some point Chad would add a second rider to his team. I think at one point they even talked to JS7 about riding for Chad’s team as a second rider.
Skyway Rims For Motocross Bikes? How about ACS “Z” Rims?
When I was a kid I used to ride BMX bikes and race then like crazy, In fact I wish I had stayed with it and made the transition to motocross earlier in life. In any Case, BMX bikes were always looking for a way to get lighter and still have parts that were strong enough to handle the business of riding.
I often wonder why Motocross bikes have never made the transition to any other type wheels besides spoked aluminum type rims. On BMX bikes I remember using a rim called “Z” Rims, I’m pretty sure they where made out of graphite, so they had a little flex to them but they were very strong and light, and so many people riding back then made the switch to these type of rims. They also used Skyway Rims called “Tuff 2’S ” Which were graphite also and look like the rims on this Yamaha. We also used Sealed bearing hubs called Bullseye Hubs (Back in the day those were the best) and when you would flip your bike upside down and roll the wheel, the hubs were so well designed that the wheel would continue spinning until you stopped them.
Just a thought! I’ve included some pics for the fun of it, but I really wonder sometimes if these rims could work on a motorcycle in todays climate as Supercross riders. They certainly could help with weight.
